For over a thousand years, limu has nourished Hawaiian families, sustained the reef, and carried the wisdom of our ancestors. Today, coastal development and climate change have pushed these precious seaweeds to the edge. Makana No Ke Kaiāulu brings together kama'āina, visitors, and ocean stewards to cultivate, protect, and restore limu — one shoreline at a time.
